
Leigh Ann Tomlinson Roberts was appointed Commonwealth Attorney in December 2021. Commonwealth Attorney Roberts has served in the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney since 2006. Commonwealth Attorney Roberts served as a crime victims advocate in the office for approximately 9 years. She was named First Assistant Commonwealth Attorney in 2015. Commonwealth Attorney Roberts is a Carroll County native and is heavily involved in our community. Commonwealth Attorney Roberts has served in this Judicial Circuit for over thirty-one (31) years.

Elizabeth joined the Commonwealth Attorney's Office in March of 2025, after serving with the Kenton County Judge's Office, as a Staff Attorney, since 2022.
Elizabeth is a 2019 graduate from Northern Kentucky University and later graduated from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2022. Elizabeth worked as a Law Clerk for the 54th Judicial Circuit Commonwealth Attorney while in law school.

Marissa joined the Commonwealth Attorney's Office in 2022, after serving with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, as a Social Service Clinician, since 2016. Marissa graduated from the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville in 2015 and is a 2010 Carroll County High School graduate.

Bailey joined the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office in June of 2022. Bailey is a 2021 Carroll County High School graduate. Bailey interned for the Commonwealth Attorney's Office as a college freshman in February of 2022. Bailey graduated from the University of Louisville in December of 2025 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.

Brittany joined the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office in June of 2023. Brittany is a 2011 Carroll County High School graduate and received her master’s degree from Campbellsville University in 2023.

Laura joined the Commonwealth Attorney's Office in June of 2024. Laura graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor’s in psychology, with a focus in forensics, and a minor in paralegal studies. Laura is a 2020 Carroll County High School graduate. Laura also worked in the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney as an intern while attending Eastern Kentucky University.
